Jinja Agricultural trade show which was the 15th Trade show was successfully held in Jinja.
Bukalasa College and Mountains of the Moon University and UFEA with support from NUFFIC participated as a consortium in this event and presented the Diploma and Certificate courses in floriculture offered by the institutions under the NUFFIC funded Capacity building project. Many people who visited the stall inquired about the courses, the institutions and issues pertaining to flower growing.
Over 250 local and foreign exhibitors participated in the show whose theme was “Targeting Increased Agricultural Production to Reduce Food Shortage in the Country.”
Considerably a about over 800 people both young and mature visited the stall in a quest to know a lot more about the flower sector.
The UFEA Exhibition Stall at Jinja
UFEA emerged the third best Exhibitor among the large scale companies’ categories and won a trophy for this position. This being the first time UFEA was participating in it meant a very big achievement for the Association.
